Algeria is set to enhance its grain storage capacities through a project to build 16 silos for the Algerian Professional Board for Grains (OAIC), expected to be delivered before the end of the first half of 2026, as part of a strategy aimed at securing a stockpile covering around nine months of national consumption and reducing direct reliance on imports.
