Algeria Business Bay processes personal data in accordance with applicable Algerian data-protection law, including Law No. 18-07, as amended and supplemented, and, where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

Depending on the service and payment route:

•EVENTHACKER LLC processes personal data associated with international membership purchases, Stripe billing, international payment support, refunds, fraud prevention and related accounting obligations.
•EURL Taywalt processes personal data associated with Algerian operations, DZD purchases, SofizPay transactions, local payment support, refunds and related Algerian accounting obligations.

Each entity is responsible for the personal data processing activities it determines and manages.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

•Account information: name, email address, country, and profile details you provide when registering on Circle.so.
•Communication data: messages you send us, feedback, and survey responses.
•Newsletter email address and consent records
•Contact-form information
•Phone number and company name when supplied. Merchandise orders also require delivery/contact details, basket contents and, where required for delivery, a recipient tax identifier (such as a Brazilian CPF/CNPJ).
•Circle membership profile
•Posts, comments, reactions and event participation
•Webinar registration and attendance
•Directory and startup submissions

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

•Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and interaction with content.
•Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
•Cookies and similar technologies: to improve user experience and analyze usage patterns.
•IP address and approximate country
•Fraud and account-security information

1.3 Information from Third Parties

•International membership payments use Stripe through Circle; international merchandise payments use ABB’s direct Stripe checkout. Algerian-dinar payments use SofizPay.
•We do not directly store complete payment-card numbers. Payment providers may collect payment credentials, transaction information, billing details, IP addresses, fraud-prevention data and other information needed to process and secure transactions.
•Stripe, Circle and SofizPay process information according to their respective privacy policies and legal obligations. Merchandise fulfillment shares necessary order, delivery, contact and customs information with Printful and its carriers for international orders, or ABB’s local delivery partners in Algeria. Order notifications are sent through Brevo; these are transactional, not marketing consent.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

•To provide and maintain our Services, including account management, event access, and newsletter delivery.
•To communicate with you about your membership, updates, events, and relevant content.

•To comply with legal obligations.

3. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share information with:

•Circle.so: As our community hosting platform.
•Service providers: Who help us operate our Services, including Google Analytics, Metricool and PostHog for consent-based analytics. PostHog data for this website is processed through its US service endpoint.
•Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.

Other members can see your public profile information and content you post in the Community.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

•Your data is stored on secure servers operated by Circle.so and our hosting providers.
•We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
•While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. DATA RETENTION

•We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services.
•After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
