Aquaculture: Entry into force of incentive measures included in the 2026 Finance Law

The General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture announced today, Sunday, in a statement, the entry into force of incentive measures stipulated in the 2026 Finance Law, aimed at promoting the aquaculture sector and supporting the operators active in it. The statement clarified that these measures fall under Article 138 of the 2026 Finance Law, which provides for exemption from customs duties and the application of a reduced rate of value-added tax when importing raw materials used in the production of food intended for fish farming and farmed aquatic products, according to a specified list.
