Aquaculture: Upcoming digital platform to connect producers with processors and sales points

The General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture is preparing to launch a digital platform dedicated to showcasing and marketing aquaculture products from marine and freshwater sources, allowing producers to register the quantities offered and connect them directly with processors and sales points, especially those affiliated with the National Office for Animal Feed (ONAB), in a move aimed at improving marketing mechanisms and overcoming the obstacles facing production expansion. In this context, the Director General of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Miloud Taria, chaired a coordination meeting dedicated to preparing for the launch of this platform, attended by officials from the General Directorate and representatives from the National Office for Animal Feed, according to a statement from the Directorate.
