The central director at the National Agency for Studies and Monitoring of Investment Projects in Railways, Nabil Boubaya, revealed that Algeria has allocated a financial envelope estimated at around 2400 billion dinars for the development and modernization of the railway transport network, as part of a strategic vision aimed at supporting economic and social development, similar to many developed countries that built their economies on sustainable transport of passengers and goods.
