Customs services carried out quality operations during the past year 2025, managing to seize 9.87 tons of processed cannabis, 728.3 kg of cocaine, and more than 16.5 million units of hallucinogenic pills across the national territory, as confirmed today, Saturday, in Algiers, by the Director General of Customs, Major General Abdel Hafid Bekhouch, during the commemoration of World Customs Day, which took place in the presence of the President of the National People's Assembly Ibrahim Bougali, several government members, as well as representatives from employers' organizations and customs officials.
