Immediate Suspension of Fishing Vessel License for This Reason

The General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture has suspended the maritime license of a fishing vessel of the type 'Giab', after confirming its involvement in fishing activities within a prohibited area, following field investigations initiated by its services after videos circulated on social media showing several fishing vessels approaching the shores. According to a statement from the directorate, initial data indicated suspicion of the vessel named 'A.A-1', registered in the Wilaya of Chlef, fishing within a prohibited area off the coast of the Wilaya of Mostaganem, where the fisheries and aquaculture inspector for the Wilaya of Mostaganem prepared a detailed report on the incident, based on which the Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture for the Wilaya of Chlef opened a supplementary investigation.
