The relevant ministry stated in a press release that the signing took place during the reception of a high-level Indonesian delegation led by Indonesian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudariono by the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mining, Mohamed Arkab, and the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Algerian phosphate mining company 'Somifos', a subsidiary of SONARAM, and 'Pobok Indonesia', in the presence of the Secretary of State in charge of mining Karima Bekir Tafer, the Indonesian ambassador to Algeria, and the CEO of SONARAM Redha Belhaj.
