The aim is to enhance financial support for project holders. Since November, the Loan Guarantee Fund has signed agreements with three banks to include operating loans among the guarantees it provides, with the number expected to rise to 15 banks by January 2026, according to the Fund's Director General, El Hadi Tamam. These agreements set the loan ceiling at 50 million DZD with a maximum guarantee of 35 million DZD, representing a coverage rate of 70 percent, according to the same source.
