On Thursday, during her visit to Tindouf, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines in charge of mines, Karima Bakir Tafer, reviewed the preparations for transporting the first shipment of iron ore extracted from the Gara Djebilet mine to Béchar and then to Oran. Ms. Tafer stated in a statement on this occasion that this visit allowed her to inspect the final touches before the inauguration of the Gara Djebilet mine project, which will also be marked by the inauguration of the railway line connecting the provinces of Tindouf and Béchar, where the transported quantity is expected to reach about 2200 tons per day of iron ore.
