Revenues from the Tunisian tourism sector increased by 6.5 percent during the past year 2025 on a yearly basis, according to data published by the Central Bank of Tunisia. According to the same data, tourism sector revenues reached about 2.8 billion dollars in 2025, compared to 2.6 billion dollars recorded in 2024. The country welcomed more than 11 million tourists during the mentioned period, surpassing the record number recorded in 2019, which was about 9.4 million tourists, before tourism activity declined in the following years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
