Trump explained in a post on his platform 'Truth Social' that a 10 percent tariff will take effect starting February 1 on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Britain, the Netherlands, and Finland. He added that these tariffs will rise to 25 percent starting June 1 and will remain in effect until an agreement is reached allowing the United States to purchase Greenland.
