The Algerian Stock Exchange recorded significant growth in its performance during 2025, with a market value of 744.45 billion dinars at the end of the year, an increase of 42.70 percent compared to 2024. The trading value in the secondary market also rose by 444 percent to reach 15.02 billion dinars compared to 2.76 billion dinars in 2024, while the annual trading volume surged by 498 percent, recording 7.78 million traded securities compared to 1.3 million securities in the previous year. In the context of market expansion, the Chairman of the Committee for Organizing and Monitoring Stock Exchange Operations, Youssef Bouzenada, revealed during a meeting dedicated to presenting the semi-annual report for 2025 that five institutions are currently showing interest in listing on the stock exchange.
