The consumption rate of foreign trade sector credits in Algeria during 2023 reached approximately 81.56%, exceeding 4.9 billion DZD of the total resources allocated for regulating trade exchanges and supporting non-hydrocarbon exports, according to the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Professor Kamel Rezig, who revealed this yesterday, Saturday, during a hearing session at the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People's Assembly. The minister confirmed, in the presence of the Minister of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, Amal Abdel Latif, and the Minister of Relations with Parliament, Najiba Djilali, that the state has made export support a sustainable public policy, aimed at directing resources towards competitive productive enterprises and stimulating national value chains.
