The Minister of State, Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab, discussed with the Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin the prospects for enhancing cooperation and partnership between Algeria and Italy in the fields of oil and gas, investment opportunities, and exchange of expertise, in addition to issues of energy transition and reducing carbon emissions, during the 'North Africa - Connecting Continents and Creating Opportunities' seminar. According to a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the meeting took place as part of the Italian minister's participation and his accompanying delegation in the works of the seminar organized by the Bank of Algeria in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, in the presence of the CEO of SONATRACH Nourredine Daoudi and the head of the National Agency for the Valorization of Resources.
