The Algerian National Company for Electricity and Gas 'Sonelgaz' received on Monday the Minister of Energy and Oil of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and a high-level delegation at the headquarters of the electricity system manager, where Algeria's expertise in managing the national electricity network was presented, along with technical and field support for the development of the Mauritanian electricity transmission network. According to a statement from the company, the visit focused on the National Control Center for the electricity system, where the Mauritanian delegation received detailed explanations about the management of the network and the latest technical applications used, followed by extensive discussions on cooperation in the fields of electricity production, transmission, and distribution, as well as energy training for Mauritanian engineers and technicians.
