The economic development expert, Professor Abdel Rahman Hadif, confirmed that Algerian-German relations have a historical and strategic character, considering that Germany was one of the first European countries to hasten to recognize Algeria's independence, and that the relations between the two countries have witnessed continuous economic cooperation since independence.

Algeria strengthens its partnership with several European Union countries, notably Italy, Spain and Germany. Indeed, cooperation between Algiers and these states is materializing and consolidating through partnerships and concrete projects in various sectors, thus surpassing the old vision that Algeria was perceived as a mere energy supplier and a 'bazaar' for Europe.
