The expert in economics and water management and specialist in food security, Professor Ibrahim Mouhouch, revealed that between 8 and 10 dams overflowed, including the Beni Haroun dam, while the filling rate of 58 dams exceeded 50 percent, compared to about 15 dams with a filling rate below this level. He confirmed that the improvement in water resources this year indicates a more productive agricultural output compared to last year. Mouhouch explained, during his appearance on the morning guest program on Radio Channel Two, that the significant rainfall recorded compared to the last decade is a positive indicator, especially for the agricultural sector that benefited from the recent rains, emphasizing that the distribution of rainfall throughout the year remains preferable.
