El-Menia: Launch of a plan to maintain over 1600 km of the electricity network

The Electricity and Gas Distribution Company (SONELGAZ) in El-Menia has launched a wide-ranging proactive plan to maintain the electricity network over a length of 1607 km, as part of the early preparations for the summer of 2026, according to a statement issued today, Tuesday, by the communication cell at the distribution directorate in El-Menia. The same source clarified that this plan is part of the maintenance program for the Great South network, where the distribution directorate has begun implementing a comprehensive periodic maintenance program for the electricity network aimed at enhancing technical readiness and improving the overall performance of the network in anticipation of peak consumption periods during the summer season.
