Electronic payment in Algeria grew by 46 percent during the past year 2025, driven particularly by the adoption of this payment method by many public administrations to facilitate access to their services. According to the latest report from the Automated Cash Gathering, the total value of electronic payments (via electronic payment devices, online, and mobile phones) reached 939 billion DZD in 2025, compared to 643.8 billion DZD in 2024.
