Extension of the deadline for collecting the vehicle tax voucher until May 31

The deadline for collecting the vehicle tax voucher for the year 2026 has been extended until May 31, according to a decree from the Ministry of Finance published in issue 10 of the official journal. The decree, signed by Finance Minister Abdel Karim Boualzerd on January 11, states that 'the deadline for collecting the vehicle tax voucher for the year 2026 is extended until May 31, 2026, at 4 PM.' It is noted that the law specifies the payment period for the vehicle tax voucher from March 1 to March 31 each year, with the possibility of extending the regular collection period by a decision from the Minister of Finance.
