Algeria - The Minister of Mines and Mining Industries, Mourad Hanifi, received today, Monday in Algiers, a high-level delegation from the Angolan Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, where its members expressed Angola's desire to benefit from the Algerian experience in the mining sector.
The Saudi Abunayyan Holding Group has expressed its desire to expand its investment and industrial presence in Algeria by establishing an industrial center for the assembly and maintenance of desalination equipment, alongside founding a branch of the Academy for Energy and Water in Algeria, as part of strengthening the Algerian-Saudi partnership in the field of seawater desalination. This came during the reception of the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab, on Monday, by the CEO of Abunayyan Holding Group, Turki bin Saeed Al-Omari, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Algeria, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Basiri, and the General Manager of the Algerian Desalination Company (ADC), Lahcen Badeh, along with officials from the ministry.
An Algerian startup has taken a new step towards international expansion by signing a memorandum of understanding with 'BIM Ventures' during the 'LEAP 2026' events, as part of efforts to support the internationalization of Algerian startups and connect them with investment ecosystems and global markets.
