New Foreign Investments Under Study in Strategic Sectors in Algeria

The Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion continues to intensify its efforts to attract foreign direct investments by exploring the localization of new projects in strategic sectors including pharmaceutical, electrical household appliances, and food industries, through meetings held by its Director General Omar Rkash with delegations and representatives of international companies. According to a statement from the agency, Rkash discussed with a delegation from the Indian company 'Tenshi', a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, opportunities to enter the Algerian market through investment projects in partnership with local operators, especially in the production of raw materials intended for the pharmaceutical industry, which supports the development of the local value chain and enhances national production capacities in this vital sector.
