Commercial Control: More than 77,000 Interventions During the First Ten Days of Ramadan

The services of the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Control recorded an intensive outcome of economic control activities and fraud suppression during the first ten (10) days of Ramadan 2026, in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of the sector aimed at protecting purchasing power and ensuring the supply of the market with widely consumed goods, as part of the special monitoring program for the holy month. The report published by the ministry today, Tuesday, indicated that 3004 monitoring teams were mobilized, carrying out 77,847 interventions, including 73,782 during working hours and 11,224 outside working hours, of which 2,979 interventions occurred during the night period.
