The National Chamber of Accountants officially sent a copy of the draft law related to the organization of the auditing and accounting profession and its implementing texts, in both digital and paper formats and in Arabic and French, to more than 150 deputies and members of the Council of the Nation, in a move that reflects a clear desire to establish transparency and consultation on a comprehensive structural reform. This reform aims to integrate the three professional organizations, namely accountants, auditors, and certified accountants, into a homogeneous and strong professional entity with legitimacy, capable of expressing a unified voice and enhancing the credibility and moral authority of the profession in Algeria.
