Mobile Laboratory for Monitoring Imported Goods Begins Operations at Algiers Port

A mobile laboratory dedicated to monitoring the quality of imported products has begun operations, as part of the implementation of the President's directives aimed at enhancing the control system for imported goods by providing mobile laboratories at ports, allowing for analyses to be conducted directly at the port without the need to send samples to fixed laboratories. This laboratory, equipped with modern technologies, accelerates inspection processes and enhances the effectiveness of monitoring various imported goods by conducting physicochemical and microbiological analyses on a wide range of products, including foodstuffs, meats, wheat, oils, as well as cosmetics and cleaning materials, along with precise tests on electrical appliances.
