Meanwhile, the company 'Snam', responsible for the internal gas network, revealed that Algeria guarantees 34 percent of the country's gas imports as the first supplier to Italy. In this context, Gianni Morano, president of the Italian Fuel Companies Association, stated in remarks recently reported by the ANSA agency, 'For Italy, the situation is critical regarding liquefied natural gas, and we import 9 billion cubic meters from Qatar, which is 50 percent of our LNG imports.'
