The Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, through the SONELGAZ group, has begun implementing the process of reviving cooperation with NIGELEC, in line with the recommendations of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune aimed at activating cooperation between Algeria and the Republic of Niger, particularly in the areas of supporting the electricity network and transferring Algerian expertise. The cooperation includes several areas, most notably supporting the electricity network in Niger and transferring Algerian expertise in various specialties, by providing training and technical support services, thereby enhancing the capabilities of the Nigerien side in the field of electricity production and management.
