During a coordination meeting chaired by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Professor Kamel Rezig, yesterday Wednesday, a series of practical measures were agreed upon to enhance export capabilities, including the development of air and sea shipping and the expansion of land transport to African markets, in direct response to requests from Algerian exporters. According to a statement from the relevant ministry, the main outcomes of the meeting included enhancing air shipping by relying on specialized aircraft and utilizing available spaces, as well as expanding land transport to Mauritania and Niger through the 'Logitrans' group, in addition to developing strategic maritime routes towards Mauritania and Senegal, which supports the smooth flow of goods to these destinations.
