Mustafa Makidch, the economic expert and specialist in hydrocarbons, confirmed that the zinc and lead mine in Wadi Amizour in the Béjaïa province, which entered the exploitation phase today, contains 34 million tons of zinc and lead reserves, making it a strategic project for Algeria. Its exploitation will extend over twenty years divided into three phases: implementation, exploitation, and rehabilitation.
