Agreement for the acquisition of 2131 agricultural equipment and the launch of specialized training to support agricultural mechanization

The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Yassine Walid, oversaw the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of 331 harvesting machines and 1800 tractors, coinciding with the launch of a specialized training course in agricultural mechanization, in a move aimed at enhancing the sector's capabilities and increasing its productivity ahead of the harvest and threshing campaign for the 2025-2026 season. The signing ceremony took place yesterday, Saturday, between the Agricultural Equipment Marketing Company (PMAT TRADING) and (AGRO DRIVE), a subsidiary of the 'AGRODIV' group, aimed at supporting the national fleet of equipment intended for plowing, sowing, harvesting, and threshing operations, as part of the implementation of the decisions of the President of the Republic aimed at enhancing agricultural mechanization and making a qualitative leap in the sector.
