Algeria and Azerbaijan Agree to Expand Cooperation in These Areas

Algeria and Azerbaijan have agreed to enhance their bilateral partnership in the energy sector, focusing on renewable energies, and to organize future meetings at the expert level to explore new cooperation opportunities. This agreement was made during a meeting between Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies Mourad Adjall and a parliamentary delegation from Azerbaijan led by Shahin Ismailov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group and Chairman of the Youth Committee of the National Assembly. During the meeting, attended by several sector officials, Minister Mourad Adjall presented the major projects overseen by the sector and the efforts made to implement the energy diversification strategy, affirming Algeria's position as a reliable partner and key player in ensuring energy security.
