Fouka 2 seawater desalination plant returns to full production capacity after maintenance work completion

The Algerian Water Desalination Company, a subsidiary of SONATRACH, announced in a statement today, Friday, the return of the Fouka 2 seawater desalination plant to service at full production capacity. The statement said: "The Algerian Water Desalination Company, a subsidiary of SONATRACH, informs that the scheduled periodic maintenance work at the Fouka 2 seawater desalination plant in Tipaza has been completed." Accordingly, the plant has entered into service and is currently operating at full production capacity, according to the same source, which is 300,000 m3/day, under normal operating conditions "ensuring the continuity of water supply."
