Laying the foundation stone for a factory to produce 150,000 parts and structures for vehicles annually

The Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, laid the foundation stone for a strategic project to establish a factory for the production of metal parts and components for vehicles using stamping technology, located in the industrial area of Djamaâ in Batna province. This step reflects the state's direction towards enhancing national mechanical industry. This project falls under the manufacturing sector of vehicle structures and parts, with the task of completing it assigned to the Eastern Maintenance Company, a subsidiary of the Algerian Cement Industrial Group 'Gica'. On this occasion, the CEO of the company, Samir Ben Maiza, clarified on Wednesday that the project was retrieved as part of the recovery of confiscated properties and their integration into the economic dynamics, in implementation of the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
