The Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Miloud Majeld, received on Monday a delegation from the oil sector in South Africa, which is visiting Algeria to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two countries, according to a statement from the ministry. The reception was attended by the Director General of Hydrocarbons at the ministry, Mourad Beljham, and officials from the ministry.
Oil prices rose by more than three dollars at the open this Monday. Brent crude futures increased by $3.62, or 3.46%, reaching $108.23 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate futures rose by 3.15%, equivalent to $3.15, recording $103.20 per barrel.
