Renewable Energies as a Lever for Modernizing Agriculture and Reducing Costs

Energy expert Tawfiq Aksas confirmed that the adoption of renewable energies, primarily solar energy, in the agricultural sector represents a strategic option that would improve production and reduce product costs, alongside lowering the energy bill within investments, calling for an acceleration of the energy transition especially for small investments. Aksas explained, during a speech he delivered yesterday Wednesday at a seminar on renewable energies in the service of the agricultural sector, cold storage, self-entrepreneurship, and startups, that resorting to solar energy has become a profitable and necessary solution, especially in isolated areas far from the traditional grid, where it represents a reliable technical and economic alternative.
