After about a month and a half of the ongoing war in the Middle East and its repercussions on global energy markets, this situation has resulted in what can be considered a triple harvest of Algerian gas on the international level, related to the price of additional quantities exported, improved pricing conditions in contracts, and the linkage of contractual prices to the rise in crude oil prices which reached record levels. This has opened the door for Algeria's hard currency revenues to grow through three sources solely via natural gas. The first aspect is the offering of additional quantities of gas in the international market, according to current market prices and not according to their price in long-term contracts, as confirmed by Spanish media.
