Chlef Cement Plant Aims to Export Surplus to European Countries

The CEO of the Chlef Cement and Derivatives Group, Kaddah Dinar, revealed the company's ambition to dominate local markets and enhance its presence in global markets by exporting surplus to European countries, while working to increase the plant's production capacity to about 4 million tons annually, in response to rising demand. The official stated, in a statement to 'Echorouk' on Saturday, that the company expects to maintain last year's production level, which exceeded 3.3 million tons, distributed between 1.8 million tons of clinker and 1.5 million tons of cement of various types, including 52.5 cement designated for major projects such as bridges, ports, and skyscrapers, in addition to salt-resistant cement.
