The Official Gazette No. 37 published the law related to the budget settlement for the year 2023, which recorded a 24 percent increase in revenues year-on-year. According to this law, No. 26-11, signed on May 12 by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the final results of the general state budget revenues for the fiscal year 2023 amounted to 11.9021 trillion DZD, while the final results of expenditures for the same year reached 10.59382 trillion DZD. Thus, the final deficit for the budget operations for 2023 allocated for available and uncovered treasury amounted to 1.57271 trillion DZD, according to the text.
