Officially.. Start of Marketing 400 Megawatts of Solar Power

The first two photovoltaic solar power plants officially enter service on Monday and Tuesday, as part of the 3200 megawatt project, which is part of the national renewable energy plan targeting 15,000 megawatts by 2035. The commercial exploitation of 400 megawatts of clean electricity will effectively begin to be injected into the national grid. In this context, 'Echorouk' learned from sources in the sector that an official delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies has arrived in the Wilaya of El-Mghir to inaugurate the photovoltaic solar power plant (with a production capacity of 200 megawatts) and to start injecting its production into the national grid and marketing it commercially, after several weeks of successful trials for transporting the produced quantities.
