Opening of data rooms for 'Algeria Bid Round 2026' starting from this date

The President of the National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources, Samir Bakhti, announced that access to the technical and geoscientific data related to the international bidding round 'Algeria Bid Round 2026' will be available starting from June 1, 2026, for stakeholders and partners in the energy sector interested in exploration opportunities in seven new areas. Bakhti explained, during an international meeting organized by the agency in partnership with the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers on the strategic challenges of offshore exploration and enhancing hydrocarbon exploitation, that this step will allow investors to access various available data, contributing to the assessment of the investment potential that the sector boasts.
