The Council of Ministers' statement indicated that the President, after listening to a presentation regarding the follow-up on bilateral cooperation agreements with Chad, "emphasized strengthening all areas of cooperation with sisterly Chad and approving new economic projects in the fields of energy, electricity generation, and oil exploration," along with "accelerating the establishment of a cement factory with a production capacity exceeding one million tons annually."
