The Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Aqrab, received the Executive Secretary of the African Refiners and Distributors Association (ARDA), Anibor Kraga, at his ministerial office. The discussions, according to a ministry statement, focused on ways to enhance cooperation between sector institutions, particularly SONATRACH and its subsidiaries, and the ARDA, as well as prospects for development in the areas of petroleum refining, petrochemicals, and the storage and distribution of petroleum products in Africa, especially liquefied petroleum gas, in addition to environmental protection, industrial safety, and the regulatory and legal frameworks related to the sector.
