The Minister of Water Resources, Lounes Bouzegza, this Friday evening in Guelma, signaled the launch of the irrigation campaign for the upcoming agricultural season 2026 – 2027. According to Bouzegza, this campaign targets an irrigable agricultural area estimated at about 238,000 hectares across various provinces of the country. The total quantity allocated for this campaign is more than 340 million cubic meters distributed across various irrigated agricultural perimeters.
