The Minister of Water Resources, Lounes Bouzguza, announced on Friday evening the launch of the irrigation campaign for the agricultural season 2026-2027, which targets an irrigable agricultural area estimated at about 238,000 hectares across various provinces of the country, with more than 340 million cubic meters of water allocated for the benefit of irrigated agricultural areas.
