The Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellali, and the Minister of Mines and Mining Industry, Mourad Hanifi, chaired a coordinating meeting today, Thursday, June 18, to monitor the progress of the integrated phosphate project in the region of El Hadba in the Tebessa province. According to the Ministry of Energy, the meeting reviewed the progress recorded at the mining pole of El Hadba in Tebessa, which represents the first link in the value chain of the project, where the area has significant phosphate reserves that rank among the largest global reserves, with geological resources of the eastern phosphate basin estimated at more than three (03) million tons.
