The Indian group 'Jindal Saw' (JINDAL SAW Ltd), one of the leading global producers of iron and steel pipes, has expressed interest in implementing an investment project in Algeria that involves establishing an industrial complex for the production of steel pipes of various diameters and sizes, in a move that would support the national market and enhance the manufacturing industries related to the energy, water resources, and infrastructure sectors. This came yesterday during a meeting with the Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, Omar Rekach, and a high-level delegation from the Indian group led by its President Prithvi Raj Jindal, in the presence of the Indian Ambassador to Algeria Swati Vijay Kolkarni and several company officials.
