Subsidiaries of the SONATRACH group signed three memorandums of understanding with the Nigerien National Petroleum Company 'SONIDEB', including the establishment of a joint company for drilling oil and gas wells in Niger, cooperation in the acquisition and processing of seismic data, as well as the development of petroleum product distribution activities, in a new step to enhance the energy partnership between the two countries. The signing ceremony took place yesterday, Tuesday, in the presence of the Minister of State and Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of Petroleum of the Republic of Niger, Hamadou Tini, and the CEO of the SONATRACH group, Nourredine Daoudi, along with officials and representatives from both the Algerian and Nigerien companies.
