Arkab discusses with a Norwegian company enhancing cooperation in emissions reduction and carbon technology development

The Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab, discussed with the CEO of the Norwegian company 'ICA Finance', Matthew Harwood, ways to enhance cooperation between SONATRACH and the Norwegian company in the fields of emissions reduction and the development of low-carbon technological solutions, supporting Algeria's efforts in energy transition and sustainable development. The Ministry of Energy stated in a statement that Arkab received, today Monday, Matthew Harwood in the presence of ministry officials, where the meeting was an opportunity to discuss cooperation prospects, particularly in the areas of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, methane emissions reduction, and decarbonization, in addition to carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies.
