The Governor of the Bank of Algeria, Mohamed Lamine Labo, today Monday, directed bank officials to take the necessary measures to facilitate the issuance of international payment cards for citizens wishing to benefit from the currency exchange right allocated for travel abroad, during a meeting held at the headquarters of the central bank, according to a statement from the bank. This meeting comes as part of the implementation of new measures related to granting the currency exchange right, temporarily, through international payment cards, which came into effect under instruction No. 07-2026 issued last week by the Bank of Algeria.
